1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site operated independently of government. It does not hold official criminal records, retrieve files, perform official checks, or submit paperwork for visitors.

Its role is to identify the Florence County Sheriff's Office, Circuit Court, Wisconsin DOJ Crime Information Bureau, Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry, and other sources that maintain records, along with optional outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the website, you agree not to:

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools against the pages
• Disrupt access, overload the service, or interfere with another visitor
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any account, system, or data
• Use site content for a credit, employment, housing, or insurance decision
• Stalk, threaten, or harass a person using information found here
• Violate a federal, Wisconsin, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information from these pages or a linked tool to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone. This restriction is especially important for Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry information governed by Wis. Stat. §§ 301.45 and 301.46. Registry records support public-safety awareness, not vigilantism, blacklisting, or unlawful discrimination, and misuse may result in criminal or civil consequences.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. Our advertising partners' tools are not offered here for applicant, renter, insurance, or credit screening. You must not use site or linked-tool information to:

• Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or public benefit
• Set insurance eligibility, coverage, or premiums
• Evaluate creditworthiness
• Screen a rental or housing applicant
• Make an employment decision
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated use

A legally permitted check for a regulated purpose must come from an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider or the official Wisconsin DOJ channel where its rules allow.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or Wisconsin expungement rule applies to a particular person. Seek advice from a licensed Wisconsin attorney.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are provided "as is." We make no promise that:

• A partner result is complete, accurate, or matched to the correct person
• The pages contain no error, bug, or security weakness
• Access will be continuous or uninterrupted

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Florence County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for damage arising from use of the website, its information, or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from a claim, demand, or action caused by your use of the website or breach of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Wisconsin law governs these terms, and any dispute tied to website use must be brought in a court located in Wisconsin. Official government record access remains governed by the Wisconsin Public Records Law, Wis. Stat. §§ 19.31–19.39, and CIB dissemination authority under Wis. Stat. §§ 165.82–165.84.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. A revision takes effect when the updated text is posted.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or end access at any time and without prior notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. The affected provision will be adjusted only as far as needed to make it enforceable.
